Jula commissioned us to scan around 50 mail-order catalogues in colour! We first scanned at high resolution at 600 dpi to obtain the best OCR result, then downsampled and compressed the files for online viewing. Certain catalogues that could not be destroyed were scanned with overhead equipment, while the majority were scanned in our sheet-fed scanner.
