Our sheet-fed high-speed scanner Inotec Scamax 6x1 now has its own custom-built computer. The computer handles an uninterrupted stream of 600 dpi colour images without lagging behind — the scanner can run at full speed the whole time.

It manages this thanks to:

  • Intel Core Ultra 7 265K with 20 cores — image processing of many pages at once, without slowing the scanning down.
  • 64 GB of DDR5 memory — long runs of large colour images fit in memory.
  • Two NVMe drives of 2 TB each, one of them PCIe 5.0 — the image stream is saved without queuing.
  • 360 mm liquid cooling — full performance even during runs lasting hours.

Scanning and OCR now run simultaneously on separate computers, which shortens delivery times for large volumes: surveys, forms, documents and books.
