Automated OCR scanning to PDF
With the help of dedicated software and so-called separator sheets, PDF files with interpreted text beneath the scanned image are scanned, OCR-processed and finished in a single pass.
Because the process is so highly automated, it is very inexpensive for the customer. The drawback is that no manual verification of characters is included.
Automated OCR of an existing archive of PDFs
We OCR-interpret tens of thousands of PDF files in a single pass into PDFs with the same file names (and with the file directory tree preserved too) but with interpreted text beneath the image.
For larger archives with files in a directory tree, we can prepare the conversion job by processing the directory tree and file names and so on using VBscript programming. We use professional software for batch conversion with OCR of large volumes of PDFs or TIFF files, with the ability to route problem files to a separate folder without the program crashing. The program lets us convert 24 hours a day on up to 12 processors when needed.
We offer a very low price per page image on very large conversion projects!
